show 69: 11pm to 1am

Our special guests on this show were music students from the electroacoustic music class at the University of Alberta. We managed to fit five of them in the studio. Luke Ertman, Alex Eddington, Christian Bérubé, Phil Paschke and Sima Shamsi all presented their own compositions, as well as a companion piece of their choosing by someone else. In between we carried on a lively discussion of such topics of interest as copyright law and music, popular and academic electronic music, and composition techniques of acoustic classical music versus electroacoustic music. Many thanks to our guests for coming down.
