show 1: 11pm to midnight

This was our official inaugural show, and we had fun. Ligeti got air time, because the name of the show is a phrase he used to describe what he was writing in the 60s and 70s. In fact, he later used the phrase to name one of his works for orchestra. But he got it from philosopher Karl Popper, who wrote an essay on free will and determinism called Of Clouds and Clocks. Of course it isn't necessary to know any of this to listen to our show.
